Founded in 1984, GlobalBroker Finance SA (formerly Gestassur SA) is a specialized advisory firm focused on the analysis and insurance placement of the professional and civil liability risks faced by financial institutions and their executives.
We design and arrange tailored insurance programs to transfer exposures such as directors' and officers' liability (D&O), professional indemnity (E&O), fraud, crime, kidnapping and cyber risks.
Our clients include banks, asset-, trust-, and fund-managers as well as fintech companies. We design insurance solutions in close collaboration with leading international underwriters, with a focus on protecting both our clients and their investors.

Philip Waser
Following roles at a Brussels-based law firm and a Swiss bank, Philip joined Chubb Insurance Company of Europe SE in Zurich, where he spent a decade as an underwriter. During his time at Chubb, he deepened his expertise in specialty insurance through a series of assignments across Europe and the United States. He ultimately served as Head of Financial Institutions for Switzerland, responsible, notably, for the Swiss wording of Chubb’s insurance contracts in the field. Philip joined GlobalBroker Finance in 2012.
Philip holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Basel and is a certified Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (AICPCU).
He currently serves as Chairman of GlobalBroker Finance SA and leads the firm’s Zurich office.

Simon Vuille
Simon began his career at Credit Suisse in Zurich before moving to Man Investments, where he worked as a hedge fund analyst and later as a portfolio manager, overseeing hedge fund portfolios for institutional clients. He then joined a single family office to develop alternative and fixed income investments. In 2015, Simon joined Lombard Odier to launch and manage funds focused on Insurance-Linked Securities. Prior to joining GlobalBroker Finance, he served as a Director and product specialist for alternative investments within Credit Suisse’s private banking division.
Simon is educated in law (Master of Laws, University of Zurich and Lausanne) and finance (Licence in Economics, Master in Banking and Finance, University of Lausanne), and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Simon sits on the board of GlobalBroker Finance SA and is primarily responsible for the French-speaking clientele.
